These are some very useful USSD codes, that anyone can dial in the smartphone. These codes work in both the operating systems (Android / iOS). All these codes are related to the networks except the IMEI code.

1. Hide/Unhide the caller ID
You can use these codes to hide or unhide yourself from the caller ID. If you don't know what is caller ID, its the id that the calling applications detect to show the name of the person, like in Google's official calling application, if you dial a number of a reputed company's helpline number, there will be the name shown automatically, no matter that you have saved that number or not. One example of Caller ID detection is the True Caller application.
So, you can use these codes to hide/unhide yourself.

2. Activate/Deactivate call waiting
Are you tired of someone calling you again and again when you are talking to someone on call, then you maybe feel very frustrated because of those beeping sounds? Here is a solution for you.
You can simply dial #43# to deactivate call waiting and for activating it again if you need you can dial *43#.

3. IMEI Number
You ca check IMEI number in the settings also, but there is a shortcut for it. You can simply dial *#06# to check you device's IMEI number and serial number.

5. Switch off Redirection
Are you fed up of company calls? You can simply turn them off by just dialing ##002# in your smartphone and then pressing call button with the sim card you want to do. And that's it, you will be switched of from all the redirection calls.

6. SAR Value Check
