Mi is the No.1 trusted Smartphone brand of India : TRA Research | Is this true ?

Redmi India tweeted that a post on 11 December 2020 (01:10 PM) about - Mi is the No.1 trusted brand of India. And its source mentioned was - TRA Research. Here is the screenshot of the post by Redmi India. This report is for 2020.

But the main thing is that the research should be clear like, What are sources of the data, and was there any polling organized to get this data from the smartphone buyers of India.

As, in 2020, the most sold smartphones are from Samsung.

Then according to the facts, this claim of being the number one trusted brand of India seems biased.

And after this post tweet from Redmi India, A famous tech YouTuber - Trakin Tech with over 6.7 Million subscribers, organized a poll in the community section of youtube about - "on which Smartphone brand you trust the most?" there were over 461000 votes within two days. And its results were saying something else.

Results of this poll:

1. Samsung - 43%
2. Realme - 19%
3. Xiaomi/Redmi - 16%
4. Apple - 14%
5. Oneplus - 9%

So according to this poll, which is attempted by the public of india, Samsung is the most trusted brand of India. Apple came in fourth place because most of the users in India are Android users.

So, this was all about the tweet of Redmi on 11th October 2020.
