No charger in the box is going to be a TREND (2021)
Recently Apple has come with an innovative idea for environmental protection. And it's by removing the charger from the smartphone box. It was a very good idea, and the buyers were also happy because they thought that the price of the smartphone would have been decreased by cutting the price of the charger. But in some countries like India, the price of the iPhone 12 series is very high as compared to Dubai and America.
But this is going too far now, Approximately 2 months after iPhone 12 launch, Xiaomi has announced its Mi 11 to be launched without a charger in the box.
As you can see the size of the retail box of Mi 11, its, height is very less, which shows that there is no charger in the box. And Mi also announced a press conference to tell about, why they have decided to not give charger in the box.
Apple is the TREND setter
Apple is always a trendsetter in the smartphone world, a few years ago, Apple has introduced the face unlock system in iPhone X., And after that, every smartphone launches with this technology. Before that iPhone 5s was the first to be with the fingerprint sensor in the home button.
CONCLUSION
Most of the tech YouTubers and tech Enthusiasts are predicting that, before the end of 2021, most of the smartphones that are going to be launch will be launched without a charger in the retail box. This is not a bad thing if there is an environmental benefit in producing fewer chargers. But the cost of the smartphone should be reduced accordingly.
