Oppo is working with Nendo for a concept smartphone - 'Slide Phone'.

Oppo is working with Nendo (Japanese design firm) to make a concept smartphone  - 'Slide Phone'. Like its name, it's going to be a Foldable/Rollable type of smartphone. Maybe, this smartphone is not going to be available in the smartphone market, because it's just an experimental smartphone. We are definitely going to use these types of smartphones very normally after a few years. for now, its just renders and some images to imagine it's in-hand feel.

Oppo showcased its first look on 11 December 2020, in the exhibition of CIIDE (China International Industrial Design Expo). As for the design, it seems very sleek after opening the fold, so it's definitely compromised for the Battery backup.

In these types of smartphones, it's not only the battery or any other hardware that is compromised. Actually, these types of smartphones need a special change in the operating system, to function normally or function as desired. But there are always some bugs and problems in the first smartphone of any type, like in the case of Samsung galaxy fold (1), there were problems in the display and some bugs also existed there, but the Samsung galaxy Z fold 2 was a completely pure experience without any serious problem. 
Because of these types of problems, Oppo hasn't decided to launch this smartphone in the market yet.
