Today (7th January 2012), Lava organized a launch event on Youtube, and the main thing revealed is their after sale customization of smartphone. Lava designed and manufactured these smartphones in India. The Lava Z series smartphones are not only customizable after purchasing, but on the time of purchasing also, you can make a perfect combination of your choice from a set of 66 different combinations,

You can select verious things like:

1. Dual camera or Triple camera
2. 2 GB/4 GB/5 GB RAM
3. 32 GB/ 64 GB/ 128 GB RAM
4. 8MP/16MP front camera

All this things are very first in smartphone industry, like befor if you wants to get a 4 GB RAM smartphone, and not your 2 GB RAM smartphone, you have to buy a new smartphone, but with Lava, you can upgrade your smatphone withing 1 year of purchase, with a minimal amount of cost.
