Xiaomi's strategy of rebranding explained | Mi 10i
Today (05 January 2021) Xiaomi has launched a smartphone named Mi 10i, which they say is made in India and made for India. But the main thing to consider before buying is the price of this smartphone, which seems too high, as compared to the Chinese price. Although the price of this smartphone is still very aggressive as compared to other smartphones available in the market in terms of specifications offered. This smartphone has been launched today at 12 noon in a launch event on youtube. And after a few minutes of the event, a very popular Tech YouTuber - Technical Guruji has uploaded a video about the price difference and rebranding of Mi 10i In India.
And the main thing he explained is that the price of the 6GB/128GB variant in China is around 18000 INR, but the price of the 6GB/64GB variant (lower variant) in India is 20999 INR. There is a difference of 3000 INR, and the Indian variant also has less storage.
